Suite Céleste

The Céleste Suite offers 40 m² of space designed for a getaway for two in a calm, restful atmosphere.

The ultra-comfortable MiNuit king-size bed sits within a world of soft materials and soothing hues, created to help you slow down and make the most of your stay.

At the heart of the Suite, a huge round jacuzzi lets you enjoy a moment of true relaxation, facing the windows that open onto the outdoors.

The 50 m² private terrace naturally extends the experience, with garden furniture for two and an open view over Lyon, ideal for a quiet breakfast or an evening away from the bustle of the city.

The Suite also features a walk-in shower, a separate toilet, air conditioning, high-speed wifi and an equipped kitchenette area with Nespresso machine, kettle, fridge and little gourmet treats.

Located on the second floor with no lift, Céleste is particularly suited to travellers seeking a peaceful stay slightly away from the city centre.

You can arrive completely independently, thanks to a secure code-based access system.

After booking, you will receive an online check-in form. Once it has been completed, your access codes and all the information you need for your stay will be sent to you before your arrival.

Check-in is available from 5 pm, and check-out is until noon.

Subject to availability, early check-in or late check-out can be booked at an additional charge to extend your experience.

A luggage room is also available free of charge to make your stay easier.

Here, you are staying on the Montée du Gourguillon, one of the best-known historic streets in Lyon.

The neighbourhood offers a calm, residential atmosphere, far from the bustle of the city centre, while remaining close to Vieux Lyon and the Roman theatres.

With its cobblestones, steps and old façades, the Gourguillon retains a singular, authentic charm.

— Access on foot:

From Vieux Lyon, take the F1 funicular towards “Saint-Just” from “Vieux Lyon Cathédrale Saint-Jean” station.

Get off at the “Minimes – Théâtres Romains” stop, then stroll down the Montée du Gourguillon to number 46 (about a 5-minute downhill walk).

— Access by car:

We strongly recommend parking on rue des Farges, at the top of the hill, so you can easily reach the Suite by walking down.

— Important:

The Montée du Gourguillon is a very steep, cobbled historic street. This Suite is not recommended for guests with reduced mobility, travellers with heavy suitcases or those looking for immediate access to the city centre.

— Train station:

• Lyon Perrache station approximately 15 minutes by car

• Part-Dieu station approximately 25 minutes by car

The Céleste Suite is one of 8 Suites located within the Hôtel du Gourguillon.

As the building is located in the historic heights of Lyon, access can be physically demanding, so please take the layout of the neighbourhood into account before booking.

To preserve the peace and quiet of the premises, parties and gatherings are strictly prohibited.

Pets are not allowed and all Suites are strictly non-smoking.

We recommend ordering your breakfast, meals or aperitif platter in advance to enjoy a fully all-inclusive stay.
