The Suite Acanthe is located within the Grenier à Sel, an emblematic historic landmark of the medieval town of Pérouges, once used for storing and sorting salt.

Fully restored after more than a year of meticulous work, this heritage gem now reveals a collection of Suites where the soul of the place meets contemporary comfort.

Designed as a true cocoon for two, the Suite Acanthe charms with its soft, elegant atmosphere. Natural materials, subdued lighting and preserved volumes create an immediate sense of calm and disconnection.

Its furnished balcony naturally extends the experience, offering a special spot to savour a morning coffee, read a few pages in the sun or enjoy the unique silence of Pérouges once the town has grown quiet.

The Suite features an ultra-comfortable king-size bed, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate toilet, as well as a discreet, fully equipped kitchenette so you can enjoy your stay with complete independence.

The Suite’s washroom also reveals an exceptional historic feature: the original stone once used for sorting salt, carefully preserved during the restoration of the Grenier à Sel. A rare detail that recalls the singular history of the place and its medieval heritage.

Every detail has been carefully considered: air conditioning, home automation, ambient lighting, Refyld toiletries, a Nespresso machine, Palais des Thés teas and little gourmet treats all contribute to the experience.

You can arrive completely independently, thanks to a secure code-based access system.

After booking, you will receive an online check-in form. Once it has been completed, your access codes and all the information you need for your stay will be sent to you before your arrival.

Check-in is available from 5 pm, and check-out is until noon.

No parking is available on site within the medieval town.

You can drop off your luggage temporarily near the church before parking your vehicle in the car parks located below the village.

We strongly recommend using the official car parks to avoid any parking fines or a visit from the local constabulary.

The Grenier à Sel is an exceptional historic site whose restoration required more than a year of work in order to preserve its period features and the soul of the building.

As part of this conservation approach, soundproofing cannot match that of a contemporary building. You may therefore occasionally hear footsteps, running water or certain sounds from the other Suites.

To preserve the peace and authenticity of the premises, parties and gatherings are strictly prohibited.

Pets are not allowed and all Suites are strictly non-smoking.
