Suite Duchesse

Duchesse is a 25 m² cocoon designed for two, where ancient stone, natural materials and soft light bring the soul of the Grenier à Sel into a contemporary setting.

The Suite features a MiNuit king-size bed and a bathroom open to the bedroom with a walk-in shower.

But Duchesse's signature is revealed outdoors: a vast 50 m² private terrace opening onto the valley.

A private heated jacuzzi, garden furniture and an unobstructed view create a true open-air retreat, particularly magical when the sun rises over the valley and Pérouges awakens.

Air conditioning, a Nespresso machine, Palais des Thés teas and Refyld toiletries complete your stay.

On arrival, bed linen and towels are provided and carefully laid out.

The Suite has neither a kitchen nor a sink.

Your arrival is 100% self-service.

After your online check-in, you will receive your personal code and all the information you need to access your Suite.

Check-in from 5 pm · Check-out until noon.

A luggage locker is available before your arrival and after your departure, so you can explore Pérouges freely without being weighed down by your suitcases.

Early check-in and late check-out available for an additional charge, subject to availability.

You will be staying in the heart of Pérouges, a medieval town listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France and voted France's Favourite Village.

Here, everything is best discovered on foot: cobbled lanes, old buildings, artisans, restaurants and little squares create a timeless setting.

From the Duchesse terrace, the experience takes on another dimension: the town gives way to the valley and a verdant horizon.

Depending on the season and the day of the week, the village can be particularly quiet and some restaurants or shops may be closed. We recommend booking your restaurant in advance or planning something for dinner in your Suite.

Pérouges is entirely pedestrianised: you will not be able to reach your Suite by car.

The Suites do not have private parking. On arrival, you can briefly drop off your luggage near the church, then park in the P1 or P2 paid visitor car parks, located below the village, about 10 minutes' walk away.

Lyon: approximately 35 to 40 minutes by car.

Meximieux–Pérouges station: approximately 10 minutes by car.

The Grenier à Sel is a historic building whose architecture and period features have been preserved. This authenticity means its soundproofing differs from that of a modern building: footsteps, running water or pipes may sometimes be heard.

Good to know before booking:
