The Aura Suite reveals a soft, soothing world, designed as an intimate retreat in the historic heights of Lyon.

The ultra-comfortable MiNuit king-size bed sits within an elegant space where every detail invites you to slow down and savour the moment.

The Suite's true signature remains its private jacuzzi for two, perfect for a quiet evening after a day exploring Lyon.

The split-level bathroom with walk-in shower, contemporary amenities, air conditioning and gourmet treats complete the experience with simplicity and elegance.

Aura is a Suite designed for travellers seeking calm, privacy and a different experience of Lyon, away from the pace of the city centre.

You can arrive completely independently, thanks to a secure code-based access system.

After booking, you will receive an online check-in form. Once it has been completed, your access codes and all the information you need for your stay will be sent to you before your arrival.

Check-in is available from 5 pm, and check-out is until noon.

Subject to availability, early check-in or late check-out can be booked at an additional charge to extend your experience.

A luggage room is also available free of charge to make your stay easier.

Here, you are staying on the legendary Montée du Gourguillon, one of the oldest and most iconic streets in Lyon.

With its steps, ancient stonework and historic houses, the atmosphere is unique, almost timeless.

Far from the bustle of the city centre, the neighbourhood offers rare tranquillity and a real sense of escape, while remaining close to Vieux Lyon.

— Access on foot:

From Vieux Lyon, we recommend taking the funicular to the “Minimes” stop, then walking down the Montée du Gourguillon to number 46.

— Access by car:

We strongly recommend parking on rue des Farges, at the top of the hill, so you can easily reach the Suite by walking down.

— Important:

The Montée du Gourguillon is a very steep, cobbled historic street. This Suite is not recommended for guests with reduced mobility, travellers with heavy suitcases or those looking for immediate access to the city centre.

— Train station:

• Lyon Perrache station approximately 15 minutes by car

• Part-Dieu station approximately 25 minutes by car

The Aura Suite is one of 8 Suites located within the Hôtel du Gourguillon.

As the building is located in the historic heights of Lyon, access can be physically demanding, so please take the layout of the neighbourhood into account before booking.

To preserve the peace and quiet of the premises, parties and gatherings are strictly prohibited.

Pets are not allowed and all Suites are strictly non-smoking.

We recommend ordering your breakfast, meals or aperitif platter in advance to enjoy a fully all-inclusive stay.
