Suite Velours

The Velours Suite offers 25 m² designed for a stay for two in a soft, restful atmosphere.

The Suite also features a single-person jacuzzi, perfect for a moment of relaxation in complete privacy.

Located along an interior corridor of the hotel, the Suite has no open view and no windows that can be opened. The ceiling is also relatively low in parts of the Suite, which adds to its cosy, intimate atmosphere.

The spa-style walk-in shower with its small bench provides an additional space to relax, in a hushed, comfortable setting.

A separate toilet, air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi and a kitchenette with a Nespresso machine, kettle and fridge complete the Suite with comfort and simplicity.

Located on the second floor with no lift, Velours is particularly well suited to guests seeking a peaceful, self-contained stay slightly away from the bustle of the city centre.

You can arrive completely independently, thanks to a secure code-based access system.

After booking, you will receive an online check-in form. Once it has been completed, your access codes and all the information you need for your stay will be sent to you before your arrival.

Check-in is available from 5 pm, and check-out is until noon.

Subject to availability, early check-in or late check-out can be booked at an additional charge to extend your experience.

A luggage room is also available free of charge to make your stay easier.

Here, you are staying on the Montée du Gourguillon, one of the best-known historic streets in Lyon.

The neighbourhood offers a calm, residential atmosphere, far from the bustle of the city centre, while remaining close to Vieux Lyon and the Roman theatres.

With its cobblestones, steps and old façades, the Gourguillon retains a singular, authentic charm.

From Vieux Lyon, take the F1 funicular towards “Saint-Just” from “Vieux Lyon Cathédrale Saint-Jean” station.

Get off at the “Minimes – Théâtres Romains” stop, then stroll down the Montée du Gourguillon to number 46 (about a 5-minute downhill walk).

— Access by car:

We strongly recommend parking on rue des Farges, at the top of the hill, so you can easily reach the Suite by walking down.

— Important:

The Montée du Gourguillon is a very steep, cobbled historic street. This Suite is not recommended for guests with reduced mobility, travellers with heavy suitcases or those looking for immediate access to the city centre.

As the building is located in the historic heights of Lyon, access can be physically demanding, so please take the layout of the neighbourhood into account before booking.

To preserve the peace and quiet of the premises, parties and gatherings are strictly prohibited.

Pets are not allowed and all Suites are strictly non-smoking.

We recommend ordering your breakfast, meals or aperitif platter in advance to enjoy a fully all-inclusive stay.
